"File Sharing" Option under "Sharing" not Visible after upgrade to 23.04

it flag

After upgrading to 23.04, the option "File Sharing", normally listed first of four options under "Sharing" in Settings, is simply not appearing, as per image below:

I can still access shared folders from a remote Ubuntu machine, but only after enabling the other sharing options (Media Sharing probably enabled that access).

Any clue? Thanks in advance.

For Ubuntu 23.04, there's an application used for personal file sharing called gnome-user-share. Ubuntu documentation is located here, while Gnome personal file sharing details (more extensive) are located here.

After installing gnome-user-share you'll see the addition of the File Sharing option in the Setting/Sharing menu.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
