NVIDIA X server settings missing a lot settings

vc flag

I wanted to stop the screen tearing problem that I encountered when installing NVIDIA drivers. This is not possible for me since there is no X Server Display Configuration tab to manually adjust the settings. I have searched the whole internet and found no answer to this (there is even a question in this about this but is has remained unanswered).

For the record, I have disabled the Secure Boot option, as someone suggested for a similar problem, but it didn't work.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
