How can I block kernel upgrade beyond a specific version?

cr flag

On a number of machines (Ubuntu 22.04) I have kernel 5.15.0-X installed. Upgrading I get kernel 5.15.0-Y but, unfortunately, compatibility with a system software is broken. I know that the latest useful version is Z where X < Z < Y. I would like to upgrade the kernel and make sure that the upgrade doesn't go beyond version Z, until I fix the compatibility issue. How could I do? Consider that there are several tens of servers and I should automate (Ansible) the operations.

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
