What is the default amount of swap storage space?

Does Ubuntu 22.04 create a swap file by default? What is the default amount of storage allocated to the swap file? Please share the documentation link regarding these details.

Zero swap is the "default". Having swap controls what the system does when programs ask for more memory than is available. I use 1-1.5 x RAM for my systems. YMMV. You need at least 1 x RAM to hibernate. Swap files must be contiguous. Read `man mkswap swapon fstab mount sudo`.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
