Permission denied when trying to access external harddrive in OpenComic

cn flag

I have an external usb harddrive, which I usually use on a windows pc. It has NTFS. When I connect it with my ubuntu pc, it works immediately. I can access it in terminal and in nautilus. But when I try to open a file/folder from the app OpenComic, I get permission denied as shown in the screenshot. Help appreciated.

Is OpenComic a snap app? Or installed via apt/repository. ?

I installed it via snap.

The question has been answered here.

The solution is that snap app needs to have the removable-media plug enabled in order to access USB storage and other drives.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
