Modify the sleep setting of another user's account via root

tv flag

I'm novice with linux but for my job, I need to change settings (including sleep/hibernation) of another user from the root user.

I work on ubuntu 20.04.

I can't do it directly from this other user because it automatically boots into our software under Chrome and I have no way to get back to the desktop or open a terminal.

Is it possible and how ?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is possible, but how will strongly depend on the desktop environment in use.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
