th flag

For no reason, I am unable to put my password into the Terminal when trying to execute a command. My system is:

george_le_porge@desktop:~$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.10
Release: 22.10
Codename: kinetic
george_le_porge@desktop:~$

The cursor just does not move.

Thanks for any help

The cursor doesn't move when typing passwords ... It's a privacy/security feature ... But it will read your typed password when you press Enter.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
