Trying to dual boot with MacBook Air M2

cn flag

I have gone through all steps shown in the How To section with booting with MacOS. I created the drive, flashed after formatting first, the whole nine yards. I then rebooted the computer. It only shows having the main harddrive to boot from. It does not show the USBS as an option to boot from. I went to "Startup Disk" in Settings. Does not show the USB. Slightly disappointed as I am a fan of the Ubuntu; I have it on two other laptops. I wanted to dual boot with the Mac. Anyway, after going by step by step as directed and not having it work, I am wondering if it's even an option. Thanks.

As directed where? Which how-to? M1/M2 Macs are wildly different from Intel ones, it took a while for the Asahi Linux people to get Linux to boot at all on them and I don't think general Ubuntu is anywhere close to that yet

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
