I reinstall Ubuntu20.04 LTS in my laptop with usb, but the usb can't be read when reinstalled and the laptop's power light flash for a few seconds then the system shutdown automatically every time. Install usb can be read normally. Laptop is Asus K50IN The system in my laptop now is Ubuntu20.04(the original system is Windows XP) Because the system is getting slow, so I want to reinstall it, before that my laptop had grub-issue and I didn't know if I fixed the issue properly. I try to find out what is the problem, so I type the command and the following results: grub-install -v grub-install: info: executing modprobe efivars 2>/dev/null. grub-install: info: Looking for /sys/firmware/efi ... grub-install: info: ... not found. grub-install: info: Looking for /proc/device-tree ... grub-install: info: ... not found. Installing for i386-pc platform. grub-install: error: install device isn't specified.

The biggest problem is I can't get into the install usb. Is it possable that the HDD is already damaged and what else I can try?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
