22.04.2 Driver dependent apps crash even on fresh install

ie flag

Ubuntu 22.04.2

My graphics driver wasn’t loading & the key was not registering. Dropped in to Nouveau, removed and purged nvidia including the ppa and did a clean install of the recommended driver. Driver now listed. Still several apps with driver dependencies crash.

And although this may look like I know what I’m talking about it may help to simplify any answers.

The AskUbuntu Project was my last best hope for an answer.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
