GParted shows hard drive as two drives of equal storage capacity

py flag

I'm trying to format my Xbox One S hard drive with GParted. It appears to show two 900GB disks as /dev/sdc and /dev/sdd instead of one 900GB disk, on top of that.

/dev/sdc :

/dev/sdc

/dev/sdd :

/dev/sdd

The first disk had been formatted, while the other is completely made of unallocated space and constantly throws I/O errors when being accessed or even closed by GParted.

All of a sudden, the /dev/sdd drive vanished. Why did that happen?

I sit in a Tesla and translated this thread with Ai:

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
