OBS crashes when a second scene is added

tg flag

OBS has been crashing as soon as I add a second scene. Is there a way to fix this problem? If not, is there an alternative to OBS.

Are you using the VLC Media Player source anywhere?

@Baa Yes, I downloaded the VLC media player to be able to watch the mkv files that OBS creates. Are you suggesting I should remove it?

No, only if you are using the VLC Player as an actual source within OBS. Otherwise it shouldn't be affected. There's a bug in some versions of VLC that make OBS crash so I thought it might be that but looks like not.

@Baa As actual scenes, I am using Chromium and Open Office Calculator.Perhaps it is the latter that causes the problem. I am away from my desktop so I cannot test that right now. Thank you.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
