Vanessa mint will not allow me to own my own computer no admin password and no admin rights [possible to set cannot set permissions in any file cannot use the terminal to ask sudo apt update as when password is asked the default keyring idiocy does not work. Cannot change any file for the grub d to show to get root as password not allowed which I never set in any case as don't want one. There is nothing I have been told that works to reset my password . I do not actually need a fort knox type bank computer as there is only me here and I simply don't want to have to use passwords and codes everywhere on my own home comp for the things i want to do . I must have the administrative rights and i do not have them because i cannot set them i need the password to set them and all there is is clear the default keyring and reset that . It is deeply infuriating. After two days of this looking on the internet is my only option to reformat again! Do any of these people ever think to ask the person DO YOU WANT TO SET A PASSWORD? and if no then please do not lock us out of administrative privileges on account. My terminal does not work because it needs a password for every command even su! No grub 2 menu possible as do not have administrative power beyond read only! Thanks a bunch

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
