Create an AWS AMI from a Ubuntu 13 instance store-backed instance and paravirtual virtualization

very ancient question here. I have this old Ubuntu 13.04 instance created with paravirtual virtualization illo tempore. The instance is a instance store backed one, and another 2TB EBS volume is attached. I wanted to create a final AMI (including the volatile root volume and the EBS volume) before its termination, but I couldn't find any documentation about doing it on a paravirtual instance. This guide explicitly states it's for HVM only:

https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/create-instance-store-ami.html#ubuntu_instructions

When you're dealing with edge cases like this AWS support tends to be valuable, and the monthly price for developer support isn't bad

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
