Supermicro IPMI monitoring via Icinga

ve flag
ssh

I have an issue, I'm getting this error on my Icinga Web Monitoring Portal for my Supermicro server: enter image description here

I found a solution that simply by loading the following two modules:

  • modprobe ipmi_devintf
  • List item modprobe ipmi_si

I don't know where I have to upload these two files. My scenario server running Ubuntu, but for IPMI where these modules needs to be loaded. On monitoring server location: /usr/sbin are all IPMI files are available.

I don't know about those files either, but the error message pretty clearly states that `none` is not a valid hostname. I'd investigate that first.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
