Is this an appropriate use case for Windows Work Folders?

cn flag

A client has two sites connected continuously via VPN. At each site is a server running Windows 2012 r2 that hosts hyper-v vms as dc and rds servers. The sites are part of a single AD domain. The users have been configured with folder redirection for desktop and user profile.

There is a need to sync a couple of folders between the servers, from both of the rds servers to one of the dcs, 24/7, even when no user is logged on to the server. The files that need to be sync'd are in a common storage area, not in a user account's redirected hive. I've used scripting and have experimented with freefilesync for this task. I was hoping to be able to use work folders, but most of the examples talk about sync to a personal device, and mostly seem focused on an individual user's files and folders. Would work folders be an appropriate solution for this need? If so could someone provide an outline for a suitable configuration?

Should there be a tag for WorkFolders or Work-Folders?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
