Group Policy Trust Center Trusted Certificates

in flag

I want my office/excel to accept only VBA code from my own trusted publisher. So I've selected the following: Disable VBA macros except digitally signed macros

  • Require macros to be signed by a trusted publisher
  • Block certificates from trusted publishers that are installed in the current user certificate store
  • Require Extended Key Usage (EKU) for certificates from trusted publishers

Next to this I added a certificate to the: User configuration -> Windows Settings -> Security Settings -> Software Restriction Policy -> Additional Rules

This works fine half. The xlsm files without signing or with a self signed certificate are blocked. The xlsm file with the trusted publisher is opened without a warning. But an xlsm file with another publisher (okay it is from the same issuer) gets the famous yellow bar warning and can enable the content.

Is there a way to block this?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
