Redirect web traffic to another server using IP and preserving host headers

cn flag

I am currently in the process of migrating a few customer's websites currently hosted in Datacenter "A" on a single Apache server to another server in Datacenter "B".

The challenge is that we do not have access to the DNS control panel and will not be able to update A/CNAME records of some of the domains in the migration scope.

All the sites are behind TLS. I already set up the destination server with TLS certs and appropriate VirtualHosts and If I modify my local hosts file I can successfully hit the destination server in Datacenter B.

I am trying to find a way to forward the traffic hitting server in Datacenter "A" to an IP of the server in the Datacenter "B" preserving host headers. I am not very familiar with apache but from my googling, I see that it is fairly simple to achieve this redirect using URLs but could not find how to do redirect using IPs (especially considering the TLS).

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
