I am new coworker in the company I am working in, and I was given a task to archive the public folders of our bank branches.
I have configured a file expiration task in File Server Resource Manager to move the folders, which are not being modified for 30 days, to another directory in that same drive. There are no property conditions. When running with option Run file management task now
and choosing either of the options, it is not moving the files to the archive folder, but is creating only a README file. The storage reports located at C:\StorageReports\Interactive
, despite choosing to generate in HTML,are generated in XML, and the document does not contain any useful information.
When checking the event viewer, I am getting the following errors with the corresponding Event IDs:
Event ID 8242: Error-specific details: Error: (0x8007000e) Not enough storage is available to complete this operation
Event ID 602: Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program. Context: - Exception encountered = Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program

The drive, where I am taking the scope from and trying to move to the folder, does have enough storage, and I have checked the memory usage as well. We have allocated 16 GB of RAM to this physical NAS server. I have also checked if the pagefile is enabled, and we have double the size of RAM. Cleaning the %temp%, rebooting didn't work. All of the latest updates are installed, which, by the moment of writing this post, is 2022-01 updates: KB5008877 and KB5009546. I am looking for this issue for 2 weeks now, but can't find a solution.
My question is: How to resolve this issue? Can it be that a third-party application is blocking this procedure, or there is a conflict with another application?
