DegradedArray Event Detected - U_ but only one drive listed

gb flag

I got this email from the dedicated server hosting company:

A DegradedArray event had been detected on md device /dev/md/0.

The /proc/mdstat file currently contains the following:

Personalities : [raid1] [linear] [multipath] [raid0] [raid6] [raid5] [raid4] [raid10]
md0 : active (auto-read-only) raid1 nvme0n1p1[0]
      33520640 blocks super 1.2 [2/1] [U_]

md1 : active raid1 nvme0n1p2[0]
      523264 blocks super 1.2 [2/1] [U_]

md2 : active raid1 nvme0n1p3[0]
      465894720 blocks super 1.2 [2/1] [U_]
      bitmap: 4/4 pages [16KB], 65536KB chunk

What's weird to me is that I have two drives nvme0n1 and nvme1n1, with nvme1n1 being replaced just today and was working fine. A couple hours ago I had two drives being shown as UU, but now I have a U_ and nvme1n1 is not even shown in /proc/mdstat.

Does this mean that nvme1n1 is what the underscore in U_ is referring to? Is simply re-adding the drive the next thing to try or is there a better course of action to take?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
