Ubuntu server boot drive mistakenly filled up

us flag

I have a simple Ubuntu storage server installation with a 100+ HDDs attached to it using mergerfs (a union file system) and DAS/disk shelves. The 480 GB SSD boot drive has filled up, but based on the OS installation, apps I installed and data it should only be 120 GB filled. I suspect one of the mountpoints for the HDDs (i.e., /mnt/disk72) is not going to the actual HDD (i.e., /dev/sdbg), but simply straight to the mountpoint folder (i.e., /mnt/disk72) erroneously filling up the boot drive.

How can I troubleshoot this to find the failed mountpoint/disk that's causing the boot drive to fill up?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
