I set up my own webserver and installed some user-generated ssl certificates, however, now, when I visit the site (using https), Chrome displays the error message

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

This question does not explain the cause of the problem (likely because a self-signed certificate was used), does not detail the solution (use a publicly trusted CA) and does not explain why it helped (since the browser trusts this CA). Basically all what is does is to link to some external site.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
