Wireguard Client Addition without restart

I am building a Wireguard VPN network, in which I want to add and remove peers on the server without restarting the service or losing connections with existing peers. Tried searching for the results, but I found nothing that can suit my needs (all the solutions will cause a few second freeze or will require clients to redo handshake with server). Is it possible to implement this with Wireguard and if ye ...

Why are server CPUs so weak and expensive?
co flag

So looking at CPUs with good single core performance. One example would be AMD EPYC 73F3 which is (according to passmark) on par with Ryzen 5950X, but 10 times more expensive and it's rated over x2 TDP.

In the intel realm there's really nothing on par when you look at single core performance as most of the offerings are marginally faster from Xeon E5-2660 v3 which is 8 years old. The upside for i ...

Advice in how to properly maintain my UPS
cn flag

First of all, I hope this is the right place to ask. I have looked around and this seems to be the correct place inside SE.

I do not own a server but I use a really old APC Smart-UPS SU1000INET for my PC. But hey, it works like a charm. I bought it last year for like 40€ with fairly new batteries. (I think they had a couple of months of life back then)

Now, I want to maintain it properly and I  ...

Apache2 - How to serve static files on a specific folder?

I have 2 virtual hosts serving 2 different sites in my Ubuntu Server 20.04 both in port 80 and 443.

I want to use the same server to serve some static files for download on a custom port, let's say 8080.

I added a share_backup_folder.conf configuration file on my /etc/apache2/sites-available with the following content:

I have configured a failover load balancer, so that it acts as a backup whenever my primary goes down. So I have setup Keepalived that switches the floating virtual IP address to the other machine whenever it is unable to find the service HAProxy running on other machine. The IP addresses mentioned in conf file are present on my eth1 interface.

On my primary load balancer I am getting

The Stunning Power of Questions

Much of an executive’s workday is spent asking others for information—requesting status updates from a team leader, for example, or questioning a counterpart in a tense negotiation. Yet unlike professionals such as litigators, journalists, and doctors, who are taught how to ask questions as an essential part of their training, few executives think of questioning as a skill that can be honed—or consider how their own answers to questions could make conversations more productive.

That’s a missed opportunity. Questioning is a uniquely powerful tool for unlocking value in organizations: It spurs learning and the exchange of ideas, it fuels innovation and performance improvement, it builds rapport and trust among team members. And it can mitigate business risk by uncovering unforeseen pitfalls and hazards.

For some people, questioning comes easily. Their natural inquisitiveness, emotional intelligence, and ability to read people put the ideal question on the tip of their tongue. But most of us don’t ask enough questions, nor do we pose our inquiries in an optimal way.

The good news is that by asking questions, we naturally improve our emotional intelligence, which in turn makes us better questioners—a virtuous cycle. In this article, we draw on insights from behavioral science research to explore how the way we frame questions and choose to answer our counterparts can influence the outcome of conversations. We offer guidance for choosing the best type, tone, sequence, and framing of questions and for deciding what and how much information to share to reap the most benefit from our interactions, not just for ourselves but for our organizations.
