Keyboard on my laptop stopped working

in flag

Built-in keyboard doesn't work but external USB keyboard working fine.
Built-in keyboard doesn't work in BIOS as well.
Built-in keyboard does work booting from live USB.
How do I find the reason?

Edit. When booting from USB drive I still have to use external keyboard to choose boot option (standard/safe video mode etc.). But when live OS started I can disconnect external and use built-in.
That is what strange, how come it doesn't work during BIOS time and then OS somehow fixes it

Edit2. With external keyboard when switched to any TTY symbol "/" constantly input, as if corresponding button was hold down. Can type other symbols in between slashes with external kb. Detaching external kb doesn't stop slashes coming.

This is a hardware problem. Either the keyboard is broken or the connection has come loose. You have done the reason as the keyboard does not work in BIOS or in live boot.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
