Could not run application using Mono

ck flag

My Local Server: Windows 10. I have installed Xming.

My Remote Server: Ubuntu 20.04. Both mono and xorg is installed. X11 forwarding is enabled on sshd_config file as well.

I connected to my remote server using ssh -X useranme@ip.

Yet, whenever I try to run an application using mono AppName, it says my DISPLAY is not properly configured.

I tried manually setting the DISPLAY using export $DISPLAY=(my_local_PC_IP):0.0. Still mono is failing to load the application.

What I am missing?

I have tried almost all the debugging process outlined on many previous questions, none of them seem to be working for me.

Another thing: If I logout and login again to the server, the previously set display varaible is also being discarded.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
