Ubuntu studio, reaper, Amplitube and a behringer fcb1010 midi controller

in flag

Ok, I thought I'd try here before I get a refund on some things...

What I'm trying to do is use Amplitude 4 inside reaper (low latency reasons), and I bought a behringer fcb1010 midi foot controller. What I'm trying to do is be able to control the stomp boxes inside Amplitube with the midi controller. So far, even simply running under wine standalone, the controller isn't recognized by AT, or running natively thru reaper on Ubuntu studio as a vst. The best I've been able to get the controller to communicate is with the mountain fcb utility in a wine wrapper, was able to patch thru Carla to send and receive data, and that's it.

It's it even possible to have a midi foot controller communicate with a wrapped vst natively thru reaper on Linux, or should I just give up and fire up windows and run it standalone?

Is the fcb1010 class-compliant? (That is, does it rely on an installed driver or is it plug and play?)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
