TPLINK Archer AC1300 T3U V3 how to install on UBUNTU 20.04 Server without Internet Connection

za flag

I recently build a little Server and installed Ubuntu 20.04 (Server-Version). Also I bought the TPLINK Archer AC1300 T3U V3 wireless adapter now I want to use the adapter to connect the server to the internet. How can I do it without an internet connection but with a second Windows Pc (with internet connection).

I tried downloading and installing the drivers for the adapter, but I ran into the issue of not having cmake installed. So then tried to install cmake via downloading the file onto a flash-drive pluging that into the server but I didnt managed to install it either.

I could detect the wireless adapter with lsusb. But i didnt show up using lshw -C network. And thought it would be a driver related issue.

Question sum-up : What do I need to do to use the Wireless Adapter(TPLINK Archer AC1300 T3U V3) to connect my server to the internet.

May somebody could help me I would be really thankful.

All of this i did with tutorials since i'm just starting with Ubuntu server stuff.

Links:

(I know its not exact driver for the adapter but i couldnt find the right one. I just wanted to gave it a try, unsuccsefully)

Please say if i didn't formulate my problem understandably

Hi @Bron. Could you provide more information on the server and how you machine is connected to internet? on the server: ifconfig -a will tell us what the server has detected as network cards. On your machine how is it connected to the inrtenet? Do you have a wifi router?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
