How can I change the default terminal app to Tilix in KDE desktop?

cn flag

I wanted to use Tilix and set it as my default terminal app in Ubuntu 21.04 with KDE 5.21 so I downloaded it and erased all the others terminal apps (Konsole, Gnome Terminal…). Then:

  • I typed sudo update-alternatives --config x-terminal-emulator and got that:

      Sélection   Chemin                  Priorité  État
    ---------------------------------------------
      0            /usr/bin/tilix.wrapper   30        mode automatique
      1            /usr/bin/koi8rxterm      20        mode manuel
      2            /usr/bin/lxterm          30        mode manuel
    * 3            /usr/bin/tilix.wrapper   30        mode manuel
      4            /usr/bin/uxterm          20        mode manuel
      5            /usr/bin/xterm           20        mode manuel

  • I created a Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut for Tilix in the KDE settings (in Shotcuts/Applications).

But it didn’t worked:

  • Ctrl+Alt+T doesn’t open Tilix;
  • I’ve lost the ability to open the terminal in a specific folder with a right click in the files explorer.

I didn’t find any answers here:

How can I set Tilix as a total replacement for Konsole?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
