Configuring LaCie 2big RAID 1 on Ubuntu

cn flag

I just bought a LaCie 2big RAID drive. I comes in the box as configured for RAID 0, but I want to set it to RAID 1 to get redundant backups (as well as reformat it ext4).

I'm not sure what program I should use to set the Hardware RAID to RAID 1. LaCie offers tools, but only for MacOS and Windows.

The drive will mount:

ralmond@cherry:~$ sudo mdadm --examine /dev/sdk
[sudo] password for ralmond:
/dev/sdk:
   MBR Magic : aa55
Partition[0] : 4294967294 sectors at 1 (type ee)

but I'm not sure what tool to use to examine/set the raid type.

I'm running Pop_OS (Ubuntu) 20.10.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
