Intel HD Graphics Driver Problem

us flag

I installed Ubuntu 20.04.2.0 LTS on Dell Vostro 3599, and I checked the graphics driver. Currently, it is llvmpipe instead of intel integrated graphic.

And whenever I am trying to install from software update manually, it is showing that there is no driver for it...

Why are these issues occuring?

You shouldn't need to do this. Please edit your question with more details and context. You should tell us what flavor and version of Ubuntu you are using. You should also give us more specific technical details about the reason why you believe that "Ubuntu is unable to detect Intel HD driver". How do you know this? You should provide descriptions based on actual steps you are taking, commands you are using, and complete unredacted outputs of errors. If you put everything into your own words, we won't be able to understand what you are talking about

Are you sure this is 14.04 (tag)? It's not supported and would explain why it's not working since it doesn't have modern drivers.

Lubuntu 14.04 has reached the end of its life. There are no updates, and it is not supported in this site. Please install a supported version of L/Ubuntu such as 20.04 LTS.

Only supported releases of Ubuntu (*standard or public support*) are on-topic for this site. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS is EOL (*end-of-life*) thus off-topic, and Ubuntu 14.04 ESM is in *extended* support and only supported by Canonical via Ubuntu Advantage thus also off-topic here. Refer https://askubuntu.com/help/on-topic https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades https://fridge.ubuntu.com/2019/05/02/ubuntu-14-04-trusty-tahr-reached-end-of-life-on-april-25-2019-esm-available/

Ubuntu 20 isn't a valid release; the closest is Ubuntu Core 20 which is *snap* only and designed for *headless* operation (releases using the format *year* are different products to those which use the more common *year.month* format). I'd now suggest using a desktop release and not a specialist appliance/device or server intended system. The Lubuntu team produce only *deb* packages; none of which will run on the *snap* only 20 products (only GNOME is packaged in *snap* format)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
