Ubuntu login loop Existing solutions do not work

ru flag

I am using Ubuntu 18.04. One day my desktops suddenly turned black: I can only saw the terminal and logos from Ubuntu desktop and the mouse pointer is also invisible, so I shut down the machine. When I boot the machine again, I cannot login this time, after inputting the login password,I got Failed To Start Session, so I googled and did sudo apt-get install --reinstall ubuntu-desktop. Things become worse, I am now stuck with the login loop issue.

My .Xauthority ownership is correctly set. I tried to reinstall gdm3 and lightdm. I also tried to reinstall NVIDIA GPU driver. None of those works for me.

But I found every time when I reboot, before reaching the login page, there is one promotion flashes. It says

Cound't get size: 0x800000000000000e
/dev/nvme0n1p2: clean, 2461888/113696768 files, .....
[ 3.981044] EDAV skx: ECC is disabled on imc 0
[ 4.077609] EDAV skx: ECC is disabled on imc 0
.......

After the flash, it comes to the login page, another thing different is I only have one login choice, the guest login option also disappears.

I really don't hope to reinstall the system because so many files to backup.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
