It's mounted, it shows up as a drive on the desktop.

I can navigate it just a like a windows drive.

But i can't figure out how to point mame to it.

I've tried mounting it, nothing works.

all the suggestions are for mounted the drive, it's mounted and I can see it but I can't find it from within mame (195)

what do you mean by "point mame to it"? please [edit] your question and provide further details of what you have tried and what it is you want to achieve.

I don't know mame but by convention, there are generally 2 ways in a software to point to a volume other than /Home. Either, if the software permits, navigate to `Other Locations` and find your chosen directory from there or open `Disks` and copy details of the mount point and use that as part of your link to where the data is to be stored (such as /mnt/[username]/[device_name])

Probably a snap, and snaps indeed may not have access to removable drives. Clarify your post and indicate what you mean by "mame". Use "edit" to make changes directly to your question.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
