How do I fix this?

You've provided no OS & release details... That message is usually an indication that the machine was not shutdown cleanly & thus it performed a file-system check because of that - so the obvious fix is to always shutdown your machine cleanly, or fix the issue (setting) that causes it to run on the subsequent boot - but you've provided no OS detail so this is generic. It's likely a change made in the last session before you got yourself into this issue (but you've provided no details; and our help is based on what you provide)
