You're question has nothing to do with Ubuntu. Installing any OS is in no way related with the one, if any, OS already installed. You boot the installation media from your firmware's functions (BIOS or UEFI), as usual.

The Windows .iso file cannot be merely copied onto a USB stick. You must follow the Windows Install instructions to properly create the Windows installer on the USB stick. Booting that USB means selecting the proper boot media in your BIOS -- that selection occurs before Ubuntu loads, when the manufacturer logo is showing. Your question is unclear, so there's not much more help we can offer.

Note that Windows is like Ubuntu in that how you boot install media UEFI or BIOS, is then how it installs. Windows does require gpt partitioning for UEFI install and MBR partitioning for BIOS install. Microsoft has required vendors to install in UEFI/gpt mode since Windows 8 released in 2012. And if system originally came with Windows, your Product Key is inside UEFI, but only if UEFI install.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
