MIDI keyboard not making sound in virtual machine

ng flag

Windows 10 virtual machine with VMware in Ubuntu 21.04 has my Nektar SE49 as a corresponding device, and the DAW I'm using--Cakewalk by Bandlab--also has the MIDI keyboard in its settings. I have sound coming out from the DAW, but not the keyboard, although everything is turned on. Is there something that I need to do within the Ubuntu operating system before going into Windows? Is operating a MIDI keyboard in a virtual machine simply not possible?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
