Ubuntu on HDD can't be booted because it has no space left on the root partition. How to free up space using usb-stick system? Or do I need it (help of a usb-stick)?

Check /var/log for enormous logfiles. If you find one, *read part of it* to learn what the problem is. Fix the problem. If you merely delete the logfile, you will be able to boot, but the unfixed problem will promptly blow up your logs again.

Perhaps you can boot the USB, start GParted and expand the root partition, if the disk still has unused space.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
