I am a Windows user with virtually no experience on Linux/ubuntu. However, I need to use a pc that runs on linux.
I just installed wine on the pc and when trying to restart the computer I begun to encounter problems in booting:
- I see the logo of the computer ('Dell') appearing,
- I get to the screen where I can choose the system I want to use (e.g. Ubuntu, advance, Windows)
- when I select ubuntu (or just wait for the pc to pick it automatially), the screen goes black with a blinking cursors on the top right and just stays like this for ever.
I suspect the problem is that when I tried to install wine I ran out of space in some partition.
Indeed, before installing wine I was already getting a message about some lack of space (Fig 1).
FIG 1
When installing wine It said the space required would have been of something like 1 Gb, and I said ok.
After that, I start having problems.
Below you can see the system-smmary details.

How can I remove the wine files from the installation so that I can start the pc again?
Notes:
- I can start the pc using windows but I do not see any of the software I had under linux
- I am not sure if wine was able to install correctely/completely.
I did already tried to use "clean" from the recovery options but nothing happened
Would I choose "root" from the recovery options, will I get into a command line from which I could do anything? is it from there that I can delete any wine related files that filled up the space?
PLease give me ignorant-proof instruction as I am not used to use command line.
