Enabling key repeat for Pause key

by flag

On my laptop's keyboard, pressing and holding Pause doesn't trigger multiple key events, like it does with other keys. Is there any way to make it repeat like other keys do?

I want this so that I can use the Pause/Ins keys as unchorded keystrokes for volume down/up (I realized I wasn't using either of those keys for anything else), because my laptop's Fn+F5/F6 is awkward to type. I have these configured in Ubuntu Mate's keyboard shortcuts:

Pressing Ins works fine for increasing the volume, but Pause just reduces it by one notch, regardless of low long I hold it for; turning the volume down by more than that requires pressing it multiple times.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
