Screen is "wavy" after updating laptop

in flag

After updating my laptop to the latest version of Ubuntu the screen has become "wavy," the entire thing. I'm not sure how else to describe it. It was perfectly fine before the update. My Laptop dual boots Windows and when there the screen is fine. The Laptop I am using is the Lenovo Z70-80.

I think I'm running the LTS version of Ubuntu. I updated it using the built in Software Updater. It has been a while since I used the laptop so I'm not sure what version I was running prior to updating.

Please be precise with details; by *latest* do you mean 21.04 or the 2021-April release, and you upgraded from where? (the supported upgrade path implies it was from 20.10 - but it's best if we don't assume such details but are provided them). Specifics help us understand your issue. Is this a desktop or server install? or are you using a *specialist* product of Ubuntu?

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
