My printer driver is detected and the scanner is working but the printer is not working

I have recently migrated from windows 10 to ubuntu 21.04, I am new to linux but I migrated here because I wanted a more secure and privacy oriented operating system. It has been a smooth experience so far, every thing is working fine, I am all set up except for the printer. My printer is RICHO SP 112SU it has been working fine on windows, Here is the windows driver https://support.ricoh.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/re1/model/sp112su/sp112su.htm

I tried multiple online solutions that I will list bellow:

1- Installing the printer again myself from the printers manger in settings, and it didn't work, but the printer gave a sound as if it was going to print but it didn't.

2- I tried this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDT1A6q_RFk and it didn't work and did ruined some thing in the system, things started to lag and become unstable and the printers section in the settings gave a message that printer services is not available right now and I had to re install the whole system again to get things back to normal.

Now I don't really know what to do and I don't want to follow online tutorials that might mess up with my system again without knowing what am I doing.

Please give me a detailed guide as I am really new to this, Thanks a lot.

Also I have another question, Is it possible if there was no viable solution to install windows inside a VM and print from it when I need to, even though it's not the most convenient solution but is it possible ?

Thanks

One question per question. If you have already messed up the system I would suggest reinstall from scratch before trying to add the printer again.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
