Can't record screen using in Ubuntu

I use this command to record screen

ffmpeg -video_size 1920x1080 -f x11grab -r 2 -i :0.0 -probesize 40M -threads 1 -c:v libx264 -b:v 256k -pix_fmt yuv420p 1808_1112.mp4

My display when use echo $Display is :0 , my resolution is 1920x1080

BUt all i see was blank screen, i only see my cursor, please help, i need this for my upcoming exam

I use `recordmydesktop` to record screen (you need to install it).

Oddly enough a straight copy and paste of your command line works perfectly on my system. Can you please post your full command line and uncut terminal output?

Lazy, uninformed guess is maybe it has something to do with Wayland or compositing.
