installing Canon Pixma TS3322 scanner in Ubuntu 20.04

us flag

I was able to get the printer working by following the post instruction from Xian on May 1, 2021. Now I am trying to install SANE Airscan and I cannot find instructions on how to install. I have tried all the suggestions given from Ubuntu forum even the one from a Michael Cruz. No go with the instructions. I would like for someone to guide me in the right direction to get my scanner working within Ubuntu. I am still a NOOB but I like working with linux and Ubuntu. Thank you for all the help.

Please list exactly what has already been tried so we don not give you the same things over and over to try. Are we supposed to know who this is or what his suggestion is? Michael Cruz.

I tried to use the directions from Xian to install a Tar.gz package, I tried the directions from a Michael Cruz (I think that is the name) but that did not work and I tried to see what Brian P. did but I could not quite understand the directions. I tired the directions a several times but no luck on my part. I know I am doing something wrong so I asked for help. There is no harm in asking for help. I also looked for three days how to install the Sane Airscan into Ubuntu in the forum and with google but the directions I did not understand because I am new to this system but I want to learn.

To answer your question about Michael Cruz that was one of the directions I got when I did the search on google. I do not expect anyone to know this person I was trying to given as much information about what I did because the forum ask for a person to be as specific as possible.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
