Minimize all *other* KDE Plasma windows

br flag

I want to focus on the current task, but without maximizing the window (which would be overkill on a large monitor). How can I most easily minimize all other windows?

The fastest I've found is Super+Shift+D to show the desktop, then Alt+Tab until I find the window I was working in (distracting).

Is there a faster way?

This does not answer your question, but as a possible work-around: you could use multiple desktops (install the pager widget to your menu bar) and reserve an empty desktop for "single-window working". Then right-click on the title bar of your window, choose "Move to desktop..." and move it to your blank desktop. Then when you have finished either close your window, or move it back to your main desktop.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
