Accidentally changed the mount point of the main drive. How to revert

de flag

Using Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS inside VirtualBox I was trying to change the mount point of a second drive but accidentally changed the mount point of my primary drive (/dev/sda1) to a new location with:

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/exthd

how can I undo this action? Thanks in advance.

Boot *live* media & change it back. Being inside virtual box makes no difference, instead of using *live* media inserted into an actual box; you give the commands to the virutalbox host config to achieve the same thing. (FYI: You can make virtualbox boot *live* media just like a real box does, but it's much easier to make it just boot the ISO directly; all this is done in your *unstated* host OS though)

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
