has anyone ever encountered the problem, that the system tries to hibernate after a user logs in? In my case I freshly boot up my laptop, which is connected to an external USB-C port replicator (Dell), the lid is closed. I log in, the screen goes dark, after a few seconds the monitor reports "No signal", then nothing seems to happen (visually) and then I get the message "Freezing of tasks failed". I then get returned to the login screen, where I can again login in, screen goes dark, nothing happens. When I start to press some keys on my keyboard, I get a different login screen, something which shows up whenever you power up your system when it comes up from hibernation. And then I'm logged in, finally.
This is really pretty weird. I think that this behavior comes from the fact that my laptop has this external port replicator (a replacement for a docking station nowadays) on my USB-C port causes this effect, since I only use the external monitor and have the lid closed. So the system somehow thinks that it has to go to hibernation.
Has anyone ever encountered something similar like this?
I have some messages for you from dmesg, but I did not find any useful information in there:

My laptop is a Dell Latitude 5510, if this might help (which I doubt). Any hint about where I can take a further look is welcome, many thanks in advance.
