Installing Ubuntu on a MacBook Pro Mid 2018

mx flag

I come from a Linux background (Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu) been out of the scene for a while and feel like jumping back in. Looked through the search for installing Ubuntu on a mid 2018 MacBook Pro Came up with

https://askubuntu.com/search?q=MacBook+Pro+install+Ubuntu

977 results none with new hardware and specs as the 2017 is new to me at least. Most seem very outdated

Doing a google search I found 2 questions that are about the mid 2018

Ubuntu 18.04 no sound on imac mid-2017 21,5"

2017 macbook Trackpad is not working in Ubuntu 20.04

Are there any guides for me that will help install ubuntu?

Also, when I wrote this I was searching for a mid 2017 that I thought I had but it is a mid 2018 so hope that helps

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
