System Sounds On Meetings

in flag

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04.1 and I've problem with meetings.

With any kind. Whether it's Google Meet, Zoom or Discord. Doesn't matter.

When I use a USB microphone and a headphone (3.5 mm jack with built-in mic), I can hear the voice through headphone and speak through microphone. And I can listen music, play videos etc. too.

When I just use the headphone in a meeting, everyone can hear my system sounds.

Like, when I play music, everyone in the meeting can hear the song loud and clear.

The problem is not about headphone.

I've tested it with other OS'es (Android, Windows).

I've no idea how to fix this problem.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
