I am running Ubuntu Unity 20.04, and I would like to fiddle a bit with the keyboard shortcuts so that they match my other machine (a Windows 10 laptop). Specifically, I would like, as an endgoal, to have:
- The Workspace Switcher (a.k.a. workspace Expo) on Super+Tab
- Screenshot-of-an-area (via Flameshot) on Super+Shift+S
This requires some doing, since the Workspace Switcher is set up by default on Super+S, which conflicts with the latter.
As a start for this, the Expo key can be reassigned:
- Via Unity Tweak Tool, on Workspace Settings and then altering the listing of Workspace shortcut for Start workspace switcher. (However, this does not work for the specific keybinding Super+Tab, for reasons I do not understand.)
- Via CompizConfig Settings Manager, on Desktop > Expo, using the setter for Expo Key.
CCSM complains that Super+Tab is already assigned (to something called "start the Launcher Application Switcher" (?)), and this pre-existing binding can be removed by going on CCSM to Desktop > Ubuntu Unity Plugin > Launcher.
Which brings me to my question. I've already set up the mapping, and Super+Tab successfully brings up the Workspace Switcher view. However, the Super+S shortcut still has not been cleared! as in, it still brings up the Workspace Switcher view (in addition to Super+Tab).
How can I completely clear this key mapping?
