How to connect to Ubuntu via VNC from Windows

us flag

I need to connect to Ubuntu 20.04 from Windows with VNC; I followed this tutorial and I tried both with UltraVNC Viewer and TightVNC Viewer, but in both cases after inserting the password I only obtain a grey screen...it looks like I am connected, but I can't see anything.
Grey screen
Any suggestions?

I have the same problem. I can see that there is a connection in the logs on the host machine but get no image. How did you solve it?

@EdgarH I did not resolve it...I decided that TeamViewer is perfect for my needs so I switched to it

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
