Weird key behavior in ubuntu

in flag

I'm having this annoying problem when using Ubuntu. When we access certain text-input forms in certain websites, then some letter keys in the keyboard stop working as usual character keys. That is when we click them, they no longer print the respective letters: they either result in page scrolling up/down or do nothing at all. For example, typing E right after typing W results in going to the page bottom. But if we type E anytime else, it prints the character E. These are the letters that does work always: Q,W,R,T,I,O,A,S,F,G,H,J,K,L and Z. The rest stops working. However, if we try to write somewhere else then they behave normally. So I have to write my text somewhere else and then paste it into these fields as I can not type there normally. What causes this and how to fix this? Thanks.

You "click" a letter on the keyboard: do you mean you are using an on screen virtual keyboard? Please clarify. Try to write a concise step by step approach that anyone can follow to reproduce the issue.

Most people don’t grasp that asking a lot of questions unlocks learning and improves interpersonal bonding. In Alison’s studies, for example, though people could accurately recall how many questions had been asked in their conversations, they didn’t intuit the link between questions and liking. Across four studies, in which participants were engaged in conversations themselves or read transcripts of others’ conversations, people tended not to realize that question asking would influence—or had influenced—the level of amity between the conversationalists.
